There are plenty of things to do in the area. Golf is a very popular pastime, which is hardly surprising with an abundance of high quality golf courses to choose from.

Our villa is in the Rotonda Golf and Country Club area with a choice of five courses within 2-10 minutes drive. The newly completed Pinemoor course is just 2 minutes away.

Rotonda Community Park

 The Rotonda Community Park is a short walk from Dragonflies and has picnic and barbecue areas, a children's play area, tennis courts, footpaths, nature trails and playing fields. A path runs round the community area - ideal for walking or cycling. There are several smaller parks in the vicinity for example a children's play area, shuffle board court and basketball nets at Sunnydale Park (2 mins away).

 On the Water

 If you enjoy messing about in boats there is a choice of Inter-coastal Waterways or the Gulf of Mexico. A variety of boats can be hired nearby. Fish, sail or cruise the choice is yours!

Views of the inter-costal waterways. Hire a boat and sail along having a peek at million dollar properties!   Take a water taxi across to Palm Island  and return just after sundown.

Try a Sunset Cruise from Lemon Bay out to the coast. Will the dolphins follow your boat? ( thanks to Julie & Martin for the fantastic photos).

The Rotonda area has miles of canals and waterways running through. You can hire canoes to explore the canals. You can also fish in the many canals ( a permit is required).

Water Parks  - For a fun day out visit Sunsplash Water Park at Cape Coral. You'll find a family friendly park with exciting slides ( 3 new slides this year), a lazy river, paddling pools, volleyball court, loungers to laze on, snack bars, changing rooms, gift shops etc.
