Wonderful villa with fabulous pool (very warm) and fantastic lanai where we spent most of the time!
We highly recommend a well worth trip to Siesta Key – the sand is wonderful, white powder.
On a rainy day Port Charlotte Mall cheered us all up and only a 15 mins drive.
2nd - 16th June 2007
We have had an amazing time here in Florida – crammed lots in over two weeks, Everglades, Dolphin swim in Key Largo, Busch Gardens for the girls, also Epcot, and then witnessed rocket launch – what an experience!!
Still managed a few days on the stunning Boca Grand beach and two boat trips with Captain Jack at Palm Island Marina. If you can go on one we recommend it – we had dolphins all round our boat!
Dragonflies is so peaceful and so homely, we hope to return here, swimming in the pool and watching the tortoises sauntering by.

We had a lovely time at your villa and the beaches. The villa is very clean and the pool was very well maintained. We came to your villa after having spent two hectic weeks in Orlando – which we loved, but it was so nice to come somewhere so relaxing.

Dragonflies is a fantastic oasis of calm and tranquillity and luxury after 10 days in Orlando. The property manager popped in and was really helpful – giving us a map and highlighting places for us to visit.
Englewood beach was brilliant for sharks teeth and we found lots !Golf is very good value at this time of year – if you can stand the heat.
Thoroughly recommend “Prime Time” for dinner. Good variety and helpful staff – also open on Sunday.

Well Paul & Bernie, what can I say except if you ever want “squatters” then give us a call! The children wanted to take the pool home but with all the shopping it wouldn’t fit in the suitcase.
Your home is truly wonderful and we thank you so much for sharing it with us. For us it is sad to leave here but hopefully we will be back. Prime Time is great value for eating out. China Express is excellent and deliver free.
Beals, Sears & JCPenny are great for clothes shopping especially children’s. Fisherman’s Village and Punta Gorda is great for something different or up market.

We have enjoyed our relaxing week here at Dragonflies. The villa is a pleasure to enjoy during the day and a joy to come home to after a day out. Naturally a week is not long enough to fully appreciate the location to its fullest, however we did travel from Boca Grand to Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda and all beaches up the coast to Anna Marie Island. We also ventures inland to Myakka River State Park, which is highly recommended : air boats, cycling, nature trails , the forest canopy walks and alligator spotting.
Eating out is always a pleasure and we have indulged ourselves both locally at Farlow’s on the Water and La Stanza (best Italian). We also sampled beach located restaurants with Caribbean flavours at Bradenton and Harpoon Harry’s for people watching.
In all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday – all we need now is another week!

Had a fabulous week at your fantastic villa. The villa is equipped very well and is decorated to a high standard and felt very homely from day 1. The wildlife was very entertaining. I waited all week to take the picture of the large tortoise I saw on day 1 but it never came back for the whole week.
Hope to return some day.

We have enjoyed a great 3 weeks in Dragonflies. We felt at home in your villa the moment we walked through the door, impressed by the décor and even more so by the fact that you have catered for everything. We have been fortunate enough to enjoy unusually high temperatures for this time of year (80-90 degrees F ) and have made the most of our ability to sit by, or in, the pool and chill out.
We would have no hesitation to recommend Dragonflies to any of our friends and without doubt, we will return.

Lovely quiet location, sunny weather. Not seen much of that at home this summer!!
The fountain play area and ice-cream shop in Venice went down well as did Mote Marine and Rotonda park/playground. We made full use of the pool. Hope you enjoy your latest visit here. We’re now off home to put the clocks back and the heating on!!!

For the second time we had a lovely Christmas in your wonderful villa. The pool was lovely and warm and we could swim every day. We played a lot of golf, made a trip to Busch Gardens, shopped till we dropped and had days relaxing round the pool.

3rd – 12th Jan 08
We had a lovely time in this beautiful villa. The pool temperature was great and used a lot by the boys (and their father!) We did a little bit of shopping and quite a lot of driving around. The best experience was the “Sunset Trip” we did on one of the small boats with a wonderful guide called Paul. He let the boys steer the boat and needless to say, they loved him to bits!!
This is the second time we have been to Rotonda West and we are coming back!!!

We had a wonderful time. We pretty much stayed around here and read and relaxed. The pool was great as it was warm. The walk out front makes a good walk as it is 2 miles all round the block.

Wow! What a fantastic home. We have stayed in many villas and this is the best we have seen. It feels like brand new and has been maintained to an extremely high standard. We loved all the little touches – the guide book, the books and games, think you have thought of everything. Your kitchen is better equipped than ours at home!
Lying round the pool was so relaxing and the birdsong was so soothing. We loved Farlows on the Water and also the Olive Garden in Charlotte. Can recommend going down to the beach at sunset – but just wondered why people clap when the sun drops!!!
I’ll be checking out your calendar for later this year as we will be back! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

The pool is really fantastic, great to chill by, swim, barbie and rest.
Exploring, golf and shopping were all upon our list.
