SUPERMARKETS

There are several supermarkets within a 5-10 min drive (Publix, WinnDixies, Sweetbay, Wal-Mart etc). The large Walmart in Englewood is open 24hrs. Englewood Town has supermarkets, department stores and a good selection of smaller shops.

SHOPPING MALLS

Port Charlotte Mall is 20mins drive. There you will find an excellent selection of stores including large department stores (JC Penny, Macys, Dillards etc). To check out a detailed list of stores Click Here.

Across the road from the mall is a further selection of stores including Circuit City, Rooms 2 Go, Pier21, Marshalls, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Home Depot and Walmart.

Drive up to Sarasota (40mins) and you have a choice of 2 malls both on the Tamiami Trail HW41. Westfield Sarasota has 141 stores including JC Pennys, Macy's and Sears or visit Pelican Plaza.

PRIME OUTLET MALLS

 There is a large Outlet Mall at Ellenton (about 1 hour drive).

If you are a fan of TK Maxx then visit TJ Maxx (same company) in nearby Venice for household and fashion bargains. Marshalls in Charlotte is a similar store.
